The biofunctional activated carbon filter is produced according to the PM2.5 standard of the DIN 71460-3 testing standard. This is confirmed by an independent German testing laboratory.

The Materials Testing Institute in Bremen, Germany is an independent testing laboratory that, among other things, specializes in microbiological processes. The laboratory has confirmed that bacteria and mold cannot form or multiply on a fungistatic filter. This has been successfully proven and confirmed according to DIN EN 846:1997 (procedure A + C).
